This little life lately.

The perfect time to visit the Title IX Sports Grill was to watch the Phoenix Mercury play the Indiana Fever. Because of the hype surrounding Caitlin Clark, many people were reselling their tickets for prices I considered too high. This was especially true since I used to see the Indiana Fever play for much cheaper. I decided to pass.
The vibe at Title IX Sports Grill was cool. Everyone was hanging out and enjoying the company of those around them. I also have to admit, their food was great. I ordered the chicken wings, and they were crispy and well-seasoned. And it wasn't just the chicken; the mocktails were a chef's kiss! They also passed the reheat test, which is basically whether the food reheats well in a microwave, toaster oven, or other heating appliance. I have no complaints and am making myself hungry just thinking about that food.
Farmer's Market

Aside from watching basketball, we decided to visit our local farmer's market. Many people say getting out and engaging with the community is the best way to feel integrated. After last weekend, I definitely agree. B and I bought similar cups, killer bee honey, and some bebidas (drinks) from one of the vendors. In addition to purchasing items, we also exchanged contact information, reigniting my interest in photography. I can't wait for us to go back again.
The PhD Journey 📸

The PhD program is now in full swing. Unfortunately, some of the photos I took were out of focus, but what's cool is the effort behind them. The blurry images feel like a metaphor for my life right now. We are still early in the PhD journey, so the vision for the future might be a bit blurry or unclear. However, this clouded vision shouldn't stop me from following my dreams.
My favorite part so far has been the commute. I am grateful that I don't have to think too much while the bus driver is driving. I feel like it's a built in 'unwind' before the end of the day. The 'bad' part is that I don't want to leave the house for ANYTHING. With the heat, and if I have to wait before the bus leaves, it is a lot. Even with all that, I am glad that I did not buy a parking pass. Parking is wild. It does not compare to Shippensburg University. Everyone keeps reminding me this is a D1 school. I get it guys. I'm just having a bit of culture shock, haha.
That's all for now. Check out the pictures below.
