When the sun meets the earth

How does one become the voice of a generation? I imagine when James Baldwin traveled and experienced life, he couldn't have imagined the impact he had on the world. I imagine he did not focus on building the legacy that he has today... or, did he? What is a legacy? It's planting seeds in a garden you never get to see. Ron Cephas Jones is not here to see all the lives that Jasmin Cephas Jones will continue to touch, but believe me, she is such an inspiration. His legacy lives on through her. My legacy will live on. Mine will live on through the people I touch and the life my husband and I build. We are equally yolked. No question.
